Safe QR code creation for print and digital use
All content, logo processing and QR rendering happen on your device. GraphicDesign.lk does not receive the URL, password, contact details or image you enter. A QR code only stores the content encoded in it, so confirm sensitive details before sharing or printing.
QR code best practices
- Keep strong contrast between the foreground and background.
- Maintain a clear quiet zone around all four sides.
- Use High error correction when placing a logo over modules.
- Test the final exported file on multiple phones at its real print size.
- Use SVG or PDF for large print artwork whenever possible.
Frequently asked questions
Do QR codes created here expire?
No. Static QR codes do not expire. A destination can still stop working if its URL changes or is removed.
Are Wi-Fi passwords uploaded?
No. Wi-Fi content is encoded locally in your browser and is not sent to GraphicDesign.lk.
Can I use the QR code commercially?
Yes. You are responsible for the encoded content, linked destination, logos and other intellectual property.
Which export is best for printing?
SVG is best for scalable artwork. PDF is useful for a standard print page, while a high-resolution PNG works well in software that does not accept SVG.
